Ghost is a music video for a very close friend of mine who goes by the artist name of “DONKAZLO”. This was one of those videos were we created the initial concept, but was revisited over a year later.

The video is authentic, raw, and refines the standard of what a quality video is supposed to look like. There was so fancy budget or a crew, it is a reflection of what happens when you bring two like-minded individuals with the same end-goal together.

Ghost has a mix of stabilised scenes, car mounted shots, VHS b-roll, the experimentation of split screen visuals, and black and white scenes.

The video is a visual representation of emotional aftermath, blending symbolic cinematography, minimal storytelling, and expressive performance to convey what it feels like to be haunted by someone still alive.

He isn’t just heartbroken, he’s trapped in a cycle of waiting, questioning, and remembering, and the visuals reflect that: a monochrome world with no closure.
